Competitive salary ($175k - $240k) and performance‑based bonus opportunities Hybrid work environment with flexibility Complex, high‑value litigation matters Direct client interaction and case management responsibility Strong partnership‑track potential Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with employer contribution Generous PTO and firm‑paid holidays Continuing legal education and professional development support Job Details Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution Represent insurance carriers, self‑insured entities, and corporate clients in complex litigation Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal courts Conduct fact investigations, legal research, and case evaluations Prepare litigation strategy recommendations and exposure analyses Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and risk management Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff as needed Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and effective case management Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school Active Texas Bar admission in good standing 6+ years of insurance defense litigation experience Experience handling complex civil litigation matters Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills Ability to independently manage cases with minimal supervision Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities Experience representing insurance carriers, insureds, or self‑insured entities preferred Trial experience or significant first‑chair litigation responsibility strongly preferred Exceptional communication and client‑management skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
