What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) Currently enrolled in a Master or PhD program at an accredited university or credentialed software accelerator program. Degree focused on Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant STEM majors Must commit to working full time (40 hrs/wk) during the internship. Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bellevue, WA. Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship What will make you stand out (Preferred Qualifications) Power Systems concentration within Masters or PhD program You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments where innovation drives solutions to complex energy challenges. You bring hands‑on experience in developing machine learning models, including deep neural networks, graph neural networks, and time series forecasting—especially as applied to power system data and grid operations. You're familiar with intelligent agent frameworks, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases, and understand how these tools can enhance decision‑making in grid software applications. The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $36.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed. This position is also eligible for: Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible. Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off‑set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
