We are looking for an accomplished Real Estate Attorney to join a high-performing legal practice in Dallas, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who thrives on complex commercial property matters and enjoys guiding transactions from early strategy through final closing. The role offers exposure to sophisticated real estate deals involving developers, lenders, and institutional investors across a broad range of asset classes.

Responsibilities:
• Lead commercial real estate purchase and sale matters on behalf of buyers, sellers, developers, and investment clients from initial negotiations through closing.
• Prepare, analyze, and negotiate core transaction documents, including letters of intent, purchase agreements, amendments, and ancillary closing materials.
• Direct legal due diligence by evaluating title, survey, zoning, environmental, and organizational issues that may affect the transaction.
• Advise clients on deal structure, allocation of risk, and contractual obligations while offering practical solutions to legal and business concerns.
• Review and negotiate property-related documents such as title commitments, easements, leases, and survey matters to support successful closings.
• Coordinate effectively with lenders, brokers, title professionals, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders to keep transactions moving on schedule.
• Support financing and ownership matters involving joint ventures, mezzanine structures, construction lending, and portfolio-based transactions when applicable.
• Oversee multiple active matters at once while maintaining responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to key deadlines.
• Provide guidance to entry-level attorneys and legal support staff as part of a collaborative transactional practice.

• Active license to practice law in Texas and good standing with the state bar.

• At least 2 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions in a law firm or comparable legal environment.

• Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated acquisitions, dispositions, and related deal work with limited supervision.

• Strong background in drafting and negotiating transactional documents for commercial property matters.

• Working knowledge of due diligence review, including title, survey, zoning, environmental, and entity-related analysis.

• Experience with joint venture financing, mezzanine financing, construction loans, or multi-asset portfolio transactions is strongly preferred.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, client service, and written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with developers, institutional investors, lenders, and other participants in high-value real estate transactions.
