This role requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively. The RN will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimum care. Strong critical thinking skills are essential in this specialty. The candidate must be committed to patient safety and quality care. Excellent communication skills are necessary for this position. The RN will perform necessary procedures and interventions as required. The role includes documentation of patient care and outcomes. Participating in educational programs and maintaining certification is required. Flexibility in scheduling is expected to meet the demands of the emergency department. The RN may be involved in training and mentoring other staff.
