Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of experience and WA or compact RN licensure. Details Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 226-bed, non-profit community hospital with 2 procedure rooms and 5 pre/post holding bays Patient population includes cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology cases Uses EPIC and Merge EMR systems 12-hour day shifts scheduled from 0700-1730 36 hours per week No weekend rotation, with weekends covered by call only On‑call responsibilities include approximately every 4th weekend (Friday 1700 through Monday 0700) and one weekday call per week from end of shift until 0700 the next morning No floating required Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation Strong assessment and monitoring skills for clinical patient status Theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in Cath Lab required Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support required Strong communication skills with patient care team, patients, and families Additional Information Navy scrubs are provided for this role First-time travelers will not be considered for this position These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
