This full-time itinerant position spans 35–37.5 hours weekly and begins as soon as possible, continuing through the end of the school year. You’ll have the opportunity to provide essential support for M/M caseload overages, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students and schools within the region.

This role offers pay between $40–$55 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment to student success. The position serves multiple sites, requiring adaptability and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse student groups.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Specialist Credential (MUST have)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher serving mild/moderate populations
• Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and organization to service an itinerant caseload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to students with mild/moderate disabilities across assigned locations
• Assess student needs, develop, and implement IEPs in accordance with state/federal guidelines
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and service providers to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with education standards
• Adjust strategies and supports based on student progress and feedback
