Organ Procurement Specialist, PRN

Responsibilities: The Organ Preservation Specialist is responsible for procurement activities related to the surgical removal, preservation, and transportation of organs. This involves working collaboratively with department staff members, physicians, and organ procurement organizations. Qualifications Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program (Required) Work Experience 2 years of operating room experience as a Surgical Technologist (Required) or Experience with organ preservation (Required) Licenses and Certifications BLS certification upon hire (Required) and CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Certification as a Surgical Technologist upon hire (Required) or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Licensed as an LPN upon hire (Required) CTP - Certified Transplant Preservationist (Preferred) or CPTC - Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (Preferred) Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital #J-18808-Ljbffr Piedmont Healthcare
