Job Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients. This role requires adherence to protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services. The CRT assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures, manages airway maintenance, administers medicated aerosols, and performs ventilator management, intubations, and blood gas analyses.

• Assist physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilator settings.
• Perform intubations and analyze blood gases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum experience in ICU, general floors, and emergency department (ED); NICU and pediatric experience preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
