How you'll contribute:

A Medical Lab Technician – MLT who excels in this role:

• Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.

• Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Performs quality control testing.

• Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.

• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.

• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

• Assists with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing and transporting specimens.

• Maintains work area in a safe, aseptic and organized manner.

What we're looking for: Applicants should have a current Tennessee MLT (ASCP) certification or AMT license. Associates of Applied Science degree in Clinical Lab Technology or equivalent certification by a CLIA approved credentialing organization. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 60 days of hire
