The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the Law Firm’s needs. The role must interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the Maverick Law Group Team, and leaders from other organizations that interact with the Law Firm. To perform this job successfully, the individual is expected to handle highly sensitive and confidential financial, legal, personnel and institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion.

The executive Operations Manager will perform more than administrative tasks; this person will be the main person that keeps the office running smoothly, from answering the phones, to dispositioning the calls, to greeting clients as they come into the office.  In addition this person will work closely with the marketing team for all of their needs and requests. This person will filter and attend to the day-to-day office functions that are part of the Senior Attorney’s role so that he can focus on the high-level leadership and strategy functions for running two office locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acting as the point of contact among Associate Attorneys, advertising/marketing representatives and other external partners
• Managing Senior Attorney’s calendar appointments for marketing/networking meetings external to the office.
• Prioritizing mail and emails and respond when necessary
• Maintaining various records and documents for the firm
• Performing a wide variety of support duties.
• Printing, faxing, mail/overnight packages, copying, filing, and email/messages.
• Maintaining e-mail and other address directories for marketing needs
• Composing and preparing letters relating to routine marketing correspondence for the any of the Attorney’s signature.
• Transcribing source material, prepare documents, marketing reports, tables and charts; distribute as appropriate.
• Maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.
• Maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
• Attending meetings and taking notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.
• Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other Maverick Law Group staff as needed.
