Internship (OT/OTA Hospital Inpatient) Winter 2026 OT Fieldwork

Location Hospital - Balt Wash – Discovery Drive, Elkridge, MD 21075, USA Hospital - Towson – 6501 N. Charles Street, Towson, MD 21204, USA Description Opportunity Time Frame: This internship is a 12‑week program for OT fieldwork rotations, and an 8‑week program for OTA fieldwork rotations, each comprising 40 hours per week beginning in January. Start dates are flexible. Eligibility Requirements Current student of an accredited Occupational Therapy Institution. OT students are Master’s or Doctoral degree level; OTA students are Associates degree level. Student must be enrolled at an academic institution that has an existing contract with Sheppard Pratt. Strong foundation in child/adolescent mental health theory and related OT theory and practice, including clinical reasoning, evidence‑based practice, group theory and application, and teaching/learning concepts related to staff, client, and caregiver education.
