Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist located in Palo Alto, California. This role involves providing radiation therapy procedures as prescribed by a Radiologist or Oncologist, including patient simulation, treatment delivery, and equipment calibration. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ARRT-RTT (Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy) certification, ARRT-CRT-T (Certified Radiation Therapist) certification, current license to practice radiation therapy, and at least 0 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures involved in the operation of modern radiation therapy equipment and systems including simulation, imaging, and treatment procedures; knowledge of human anatomy and proper patient positioning; safety and quality control principles; training, coaching, and mentoring techniques; scheduling and billing procedures; current developments in clinical practice; ability to lead and instruct support staff; and responsibility for departmental projects.
• Additional Information: The Radiation Therapist will deliver treatment according to prescribed plans, ensure safety protocols, maintain accurate treatment records, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills are essential.
