SENIOR ARCHITECT

Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Supervising Architect for the Sustainability Unit, this role assists school districts in meeting California Energy Code and Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen) compliance. The incumbent develops and implements headquarters architectural codes and policies, oversees the Sustainable Schools Program for K‑12 public schools and community colleges, including rulemaking and plan review, to advance school facility sustainability. Key Qualifications Architect in the State of CA Certificate. Senior Architect classification and related experience. Experience with California Energy Code and GREEN building standards. Prior experience with the Sustainable Schools Program or related rulemaking and plan review activities. Eligibility Must be a resident of California.
