Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a mental health counselor, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.

  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques, to deliver one-on-one therapy sessions.

  • Monitor client progress towards therapeutic goals and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

  • Provide teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients facing mobility challenges or other barriers to in-person appointments.

  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to meet ethical standards and facilitate holistic care.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and training sessions, to stay current with industry practices and enhance your skill set.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities, demonstrating your capacity to handle a dynamic caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in teletherapy and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms can be beneficial. A background in trauma-informed care or experience with specific demographics, such as children or LGBTQ+ populations, will also enhance your effectiveness in this position.
