Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join our partner hospital in Philadelphia. This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative team, providing exceptional clinical care and advancing resident education in an outpatient-focused role, with minimal inpatient responsibilities.


Make a Difference in Child Development


As a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral disorders. You will provide comprehensive care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing support to children and their families.


Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide expert clinical care to children with developmental and behavioral concerns in an outpatient setting.
• Education and Mentorship: Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, nurse practitioner students, and pediatric residents.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.
• Team Development: Mentor junior faculty and providers to foster team development and clinical excellence.
• Quality Improvement: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and program development.

Qualifications:

• Education and Licensure:
  • MD, DO, or Foreign equivalent.
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics.
  • Fellowship Trained from an ACGME-accredited Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics program.
  • Unrestricted Medical License - Commonwealth of PA.
