Annesser Armenteros PLLC is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our growing business litigation practice in Coral Gables, Florida. This is a full-time, in-office position for an attorney who is confident handling complex litigation matters and can take ownership of cases from strategy through resolution.

We are looking for a strong litigator who is comfortable working independently, communicating directly with clients, and collaborating with attorneys and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complex business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and provide sound legal analysis and recommendations.
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written and oral arguments.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status, and expectations.
• Manage deadlines, discovery, case calendars, and litigation workflows.
• Work closely with partners, associates, paralegals, and other members of the legal team.
• Exercise sound judgment and take ownership of assigned matters.
• Maintain accurate and timely time entries and case documentation.
• Assist with mentoring and providing guidance to junior attorneys and litigation staff.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar admission in good standing is required.
• 7+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Significant experience handling business and commercial litigation matters.
• Strong deposition, hearing, motion practice, and trial experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional, responsive, and client-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-office environment.
