Position Overview


Seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. The COTA will support patients in improving functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized occupational therapy interventions.


Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional mobility.
Implement individualized treatment plans.
Monitor and document patient progress.
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as appropriate.
Educate patients and caregivers on safe techniques and adaptive strategies.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
Active COTA certification/license
Current state licensure required
Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience preferred Minimum 3 yeras of experiance an in Occupational Therapy
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and patient-care skills
