Registered Nurse – Temporary PRN Job Title: Registered Nurse Location: 601 Ivy Gateway #301, Cincinnati, OH 45245 Employment Type: Temporary PRN, 30–40 hours per week, Weekday Shift – No weekends. Position Summary Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State, and accreditation standards and ASC policies and procedures. The RN is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by themselves or others under their direction. This role participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Performance Expectations Critical Thinking: Make sound nursing judgments based on theory; coordinate, communicate, and ensure continuity of patient care. Interpersonal: Demonstrate a positive, friendly, courteous manner; effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff; work within a team; comply with HIPAA regulations. Job Knowledge & Responsibilities: Perform duties ethically and legally within the scope of the RN license; maintain accurate, legible medical records; adhere to work schedules; respond to emergent situations; participate in continuing education and staff meetings; train new staff when needed. Attendance: Arrive to work on time with minimal absences. Education / Experience / Credentials Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred. Current RN license; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in ASC, PACU, ICU, Medical‑Surgical, or Telemetry floors. Proof of identity and right to work in the United States. Language & Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word. Familiarity with printer, copier, telephone, and fax systems. Knowledge of patient monitoring and emergency equipment. Physical Demands Walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally push up to 200 pounds. Occasionally pull or lift patients (with assistance or assistive devices) up to 400–500 pounds. Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, and climb. Accident or Health Hazards Regular exposure to blood and body substances. Potential exposure to needle sticks. Working Conditions Well‑lit and ventilated environment including pre‑operative/PACU areas, nurse stations, procedure rooms, lounge, etc. May be exposed to outdoor environment occasionally.
