Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a High Acuity MedSurg and Telemetry Unit. This position is focused on providing exceptional care to patients with various complex medical conditions. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with high acuity needs, including conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, CHF, DKA, and diabetes. Manage patients with chest tubes, pleural effusions, and pneumothorax. Provide care for patients requiring respiratory support, including those with trach, vents, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula. Utilize telemetry to monitor patients effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Active RN license in New Hampshire or an accepted compact state. Minimum of 1-2 years of MedSurg experience; critical care experience will also be considered if fluent in care for med-surg ratios and acuity. Current BLS certification required; NHISS certification needed prior to start, with ACLS preferred. Ability to adapt to changes and float to multiple locations as needed. Documented experience with electronic health records and nursing protocols. Schedule This position requires a night shift, providing continuity of care overnight from 7 PM to 7 AM. Location Position may involve assignments in multiple locations within the region.
