Managed IT Solutions Consultant | Unrestricted Territory + Residual Commissions

An established, award-winning technology solutions provider is adding a Managed IT Solutions Consultant to its growing St. Louis team. This is a new-business, hunter-focused role with no restrictive territory boundaries. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through proposal, close, and long-term account growth—while offering managed IT services and additional technology solutions across a diverse portfolio. What You’ll Do Prospect, identify, and develop new B2B opportunities across the St. Louis market. Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover operational, security, infrastructure, connectivity, and workflow needs. Build tailored proposals and present managed IT and related technology solutions to decision-makers. Manage the full sales process, including outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiation, closing, and follow-through. Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the client relationship and identify opportunities to expand the account. Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in the CRM. Travel locally to meet prospects and clients in person. What We’re Looking For Approximately 2–3+ years of successful B2B technology sales experience, ideally in managed IT services, an MSP environment, telecom, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity, managed print, or a closely related solution. A true hunter mindset with the confidence to create new opportunities through phone, email, networking, referrals, and face-to-face prospecting. Experience conducting discovery, building value-based proposals, and closing multi-stakeholder business opportunities. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-directed, accountable, organized, and comfortable managing a pipeline independently. Local to the St. Louis area and able to travel to customer locations. Compensation Competitive base salary plus uncapped monthly commissions and residual earning potential.
