Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.Job Summary: Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.How you'll contribute: A Supply Chain Technician who excels at this role:Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.Processes outgoing mail.Performs other duties as assigned.What we are looking for:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.Why join us:We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
