About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (DCISO) to join their global team. The DCISO will be a key leader in driving cybersecurity initiatives that align with the organization's functional and operational goals. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of customer, business partner, employee, and business information in compliance with the company's security policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining security architecture processes, security operations centers, and compliance strategies that are in line with business, technology, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the DCISO will oversee incident response plans, security assessments of vendors, and will be instrumental in embedding security practices in the project delivery process. Candidates for the DCISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 15 years' in IT and 12 years' in risk management and information security. Professional security management certification is required. The role demands a strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, information security principles, architecture, and cryptography. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional operational planning, project management, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Responsibilities also include setting performance goals, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in the face of change, and the ability to make informed decisions based on business requirements and stakeholder needs.
