Miami, FL Community Health Center is hiring Pediatricians! This is a 70 million budgeted, federally qualified health center that is very established Will be a salaried position with great benefits (see below)! Contract & Schedule Contract: 45-60 hours per week (average of 8 hours per day). Extremely well staffed and supported. Staff includes at least one scribe, one medical assistant, patient-centered medical home coordinator, immunization nurse, referrals clerk, medication prior authorization person, and usual staff in a busy practice. Only see patients. Shared rounds. On call one time for every group of pediatricians (e.g., if five pediatricians, on call every fifth shift). Includes newborn rounds and answering phone. Providers do not admit patients to hospital. No weekends. No nights. Expectation: about 22 patients per day, 225 days per year. Salary & Compensation Competitive base salary is negotiable. Productivity can earn 200k plus. Benefits Basic and supplemental life insurance. Providers are eligible for a life insurance plan and accidental death and dismemberment plans free of charge. Benefits equal the provider's annual salary up to 100,000 dollars. Additional life insurance can be purchased for self, spouse, and children. Long term disability. Free of charge. Benefits equal 60 percent of the employee's monthly salary, up to 5,000 dollars per month, starting after the employment day. Voluntary benefits – Mutual of America. Cash is paid directly to the policyholder and can be used to pay for living expenses. 401K. Providers are eligible to participate in the first half year after a year of employment. MBCHC matches up to 4 percent of the provider's annual salary. Leave & CME. First 5 years of employment: accrue 2 personal days, 6 sick days, 15 vacation days. Observe 8 federal holidays. Up to 5 paid administrative days per year and up to 2,500 dollars per year to attend CME activities. Malpractice. Federal Tort Claims Act protection. Provider is not sued.
