RN Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

Harmony Court Rehab and Nursing, a Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center serving the Greater Cincinnati area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the Weekend Supervisor role. As a key member of our team, you will oversee staff while on duty, assist with admitting and resolving issues, and maintain exceptional hygiene and safety standards. Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff while on duty, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care

• Assist with admitting and resolving issues that arise, providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families

• Rounding on all units to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction

• Reporting to the Director of Nursing, Administrator, on-call nurse, and other leadership team members as necessary

• Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards by inspecting facilities and acting promptly to address any concerns

• Supervise and train Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants

• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, emergency care, and health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous supervisor experience is mandatory

• Proven experience as a registered nurse

• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures

• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Responsible and compassionate

• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Patient with excellent problem-solving skills

• BSc or other diploma from a nursing program

• Valid nursing license
