Quick Facts Location: Alexandria, LA Start Date: Immediate or as negotiated End Date/Duration: Permanent full-time role Shift: 7-on/7-off, with home call Hours/week: Based on 7-day schedule Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics; Neonatology certification Experience: Pediatric residency or higher; Neonatology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Compensation: Competitive salary (discussed during interview) Sign-on Bonus & Relocation: Potentially available (location-dependent) Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life and Disability coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) options 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Structured work-life balance programs Employer-supported wellness initiatives Pay package discussed upon application What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 34-bed Level III NICU with diverse acuity cases Conduct daily neonatal rounds and manage care plans collaboratively with a team of neonatologists and NNPs Oversee 24/7 in-house NNP coverage providing continuous patient support Support approximately 1,500-2,000 deliveries annually in a high-volume facility Manage newborn nursery rounds and participate in neonatal transport coordination Deliver care in accordance with evidence-based protocols and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive, collegial environment Contribute to clinical excellence and neonatal care innovations in a leading pediatric hospital What You Need Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics with Neonatology training Residency in or near Alexandria, LA (relocation may be required) Preferred: Neonatology fellowship experience Proven ability to work in high-acuity environments Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment Join a prominent pediatric facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, where you'll be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality neonatal care.
