Mountain Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently searching for a talented Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team as a telehealth OT!

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate rehabilitation plan.

• Help Residents to improve their mobility and ADLs.

• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.

• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.

• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.

• Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants when required.

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Occupational Therapist Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Must hold current OT license or registration in state employed or be eligible to apply. Montana is a compact state. Montana residence is preferred.

• Experience in SNF is required.

• Completion of orientation required by company policy.

• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.

• Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.

• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
