What You'll Do as Assistant Manager

You'll partner with the General Manager to manage daily operations and help ensure every guest has a fast, friendly, and accurate experience.

• Lead during shifts: motivate and support team members to deliver great service
• Train and coach: help staff follow recipes, procedures, and hospitality standards
• Support operations: assist with scheduling, inventory, food cost, and labor management
• Keep it clean and safe: maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant
• Serve the guest: ensure guests receive service that's quick, friendly, and accurate
• Support hiring: help with recruiting and onboarding new team members
• Uphold our standards: follow Firehouse Subs policies, safety requirements, and brand culture
• Step in confidently: run shifts independently when the General Manager is not present
• Be community-minded: promote Foundation initiatives and represent the brand in the local area

What We're Looking For

• Prior restaurant or retail shift-lead experience preferred, but we welcome motivated leadership from many backgrounds
• Strong communication and people leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced , active environment
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
• A commitment to excellent guest service and team support

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of management experience
• Open availability -- ability to work weekends and some nights required
• Cash handling skills required
• Familiarity with Microsoft office required
• Top notch customer service skills
• Ability to lead and develop a strong team
