Job Description: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients Provide routine and complex nursing care in an IMC and medical surgical setting Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment effectiveness, and potential side effects Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and care provided Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, and available resources Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team Make appropriate assignments and delegate responsibilities to other care providers Complete required orientation, onboarding, MedSurg competency validation, and annual competency requirements Qualifications: Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred At least one year of related nursing experience preferred Current BLS certification required at the time of hire ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire for experienced nurses or within 90 days for new graduates and nurses new to the specialty Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient care skills Schedule: Full time 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
