Dont miss out on being a part of something special!/ph3General Description/h3pUnder the supervision of the Intake and Placement Manager, the Medical Receptionist serves as part of the reception and Outpatient Behavioral Health administrative team and is responsible for providing reception services including phone calls, visitor procedures, mail operations, and other general office functions. The Medical Receptionist will provide general reception services at 79 North Clinton. Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and is responsible for ensuring a trauma-informed care environment./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliProvides high quality reception services including handling incoming and outgoing calls, welcoming and directing visitors, facilitating mail processing and other general office coordination functions./liliProvides friendly and helpful assistance to all staff, callers, and visitors./liliWorks in the Clients Electronic Health Record as required./liliCoordinates with reception team to ensure all calls are answered live, during business hours./liliMonitors after hours voice mail inbox and ensure all callers receive a response and follow-up/liliMaintains a customer service mindset and triages caller and visitor needs to ensure all transfers to other staff and programs are timely and responsive./liliDemonstrates professionalism and compassion to all callers and visitors understanding the sensitive nature and crisis needs many people seeking services are facing/liliMaintains a working knowledge of available resources agencies in the community that can support a variety of client needs./liliIn coordination with facilities staff, ensures safe, clean, and organized and welcoming reception area for all visitors/liliIn coordination with security staff, coordinates sign-in and security procedures with consideration of maintaining a trauma informed environment/liliMaintains a calm, client-centered, low-stress environment utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed/liliCoordinates with administrative and program leadership to ensure reception staff have updated staff and program directories/liliMaintains a working knowledge of available programs and resources within CCFCS and the community that can support a variety of client needs./liliProvides relevant documentation in the event of an incident or other notable event/liliCoordinates general office management duties including monitoring supplies, supply of marketing or informational material, maintenance work orders, and various coordination with other office sites/liliResponsible to work with mail courier and ensure mail handling operations are followed/liliParticipates in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings/liliActively pursues development of professional competencies related to job performance through reading, supervision, in-service training and attendance at conferences and workshops./liliAwareness and active support of the Agencys Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan.
