General Merchandise Inventory Coordinator

This entry‑level team member position is focused on delivering remarkable customer service by providing exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. Job Overview Part‑time: 20–25 hours a week, start time 5:00am. This associate will work in the General Merchandise Department, handling tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising across the following areas: Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral. Responsibilities Build rapport with customers and display a friendly, outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language. Assist customers with questions; direct them to another team member if necessary. Stock products and maintain displays according to merchandising standards. Utilize technology to complete sales, inventory, and other store tasks. Collaborate with team members and managers on additional duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Detail‑oriented and organized. Strong listening and communication skills, both in person and virtually. Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job‑specific technology. Problem‑solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary. Process‑driven; able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way. Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling product. Ability to stand for long periods and consistently engage with customers.
