But most of all, we have heart!Why Us:The roleOur hotel team is seeking a motivated, and energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical structure, equipment, and grounds.What we will ask of you:Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.Follow all Lost and Found protocols.Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.Ability to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day and/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.Requirements for success:Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team playerPrior maintenance experience is preferred.Good communication and multitasking skills.Ability to assist in all maintenance dutiesAdditional education, training, or certification preferredMust be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or liftingBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing hospitality team.Fast-paced and rewarding work environment.The above job description is not an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities of the position, nor should it be construed as a contract.The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is an equal opportunity employer.
