This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Support Staffing Needs : Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
• Oversee Resident Care : Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs
• Manage Nursing Staff : Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
• Ensure Accurate Documentation : Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records
• Develop Care Plans : Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans
• Support Staff Resources : Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
• Uphold Infection Control : Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures

What Makes You a Great Fit

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Has strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience
• Brings a background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Embraces a restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills
• Has working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
