Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical ICU (MICU) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date: 09/21/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay: 1,680 to 1,739 USD per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Day, 12-hour shifts on a 3-day-per-week schedule (12x3). Work setting: hospital MICU with a range of critical care cases.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in MICU, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and CKD.
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators, drips, and invasive monitoring as applicable; titrate therapies per protocol.
- Assess and respond to changing patient conditions; implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and IV infusions, monitor for adverse reactions, and document outcomes in the medical record.
- Perform timely diagnostic tests, interpret results, and contribute to escalation and handoff communications during shift changes.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and provide patient/family education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Georgia (or eligible for licensure in Georgia per applicable rules)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience, with proficiency in vent management and critical care care delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced MICU environment and collaborate with a care team
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current nursing credentials
- Ability to work the listed schedule and adapt to unit needs
