Registered Nurse (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) - Part Time (Day Shift)

Are you living your life's work? Why Join Our Team? Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a level 3 NICU specializing in the care of newborns after birth. The 13‑bed unit cares for infants born as early as 28 weeks, including those with complications, genetic disorders, or prematurity. We also provide respiratory support (nasal cannula, high flow nasal cannula, CPAP, SiPAP, SIMV) and collaborate with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A neonatologist is on site 24/7. Infants born outside our criteria are stabilized and transferred. Scheduling Requirements Required to work two day shifts (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) per week. Required to work at least three weekend shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun) per four‑week schedule. Responsibilities Assist with procedures including central lines and spinal taps; monitor vital signs, administer medication, assess enteral intake, and recognize changes that may indicate life‑threatening conditions. Provide family‑centered, developmental care to create a soothing environment that supports infant growth. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage plans. Prepaid tuition assistance for approved courses after six months of employment. Qualifications and Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit. Experience: 3 years of NICU experience required; 5 years preferred. Licensure & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required (on site); S.T.A.B.L.E. required (on site); Active NJ RN license required; National Nursing Certification preferred.
