Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process and established standards of practice. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, supervises assigned staff, and uses critical thinking to deliver high-quality patient care and positive outcomes.

Education: BSN preferred

Experience: Acute care experience preferred

License: Active RN license in the state of practice (Required)

Schedule: Can consider 36 or 48 hours

Required Certifications:

• BLS/CPR (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS)
• ACLS
• PALS
• CPI, TEAM, or TEAM-A
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
• Assist with discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform other assigned duties.
