Evaluating loan opportunities and structuring transactions, the full-time remote Real Estate Underwriter will underwrite residential investment loans while collaborating with Loan Advisors and operations to ensure compliance with credit standards. Key responsibilities Underwrite residential investment loans, including fix-and-flip and ground-up construction financing Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and analyze property valuations to determine loan structures Collaborate with teams to efficiently move qualified loans from application to closing Required qualifications Experience in real estate lending, credit analysis, or loan underwriting Familiarity with business-purpose residential investment loans is a strong plus Strong analytical skills for evaluating borrower financials and property valuations Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred Proficiency with Excel and loan origination systems
