About the Position

Position Summary:
Coordinates and implements individualized patient care using the nursing process while practicing within established standards, policies, and scope of practice. Provides high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment and collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Perform triage, treatment, evaluation, and documentation according to established guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, transfers, referrals, and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to age, culture, and healthcare needs.
• Delegate patient care tasks appropriately to support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and state nursing regulations.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, infection control, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current Colorado RN License or Compact RN License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
• PALS or ENPC certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire).
• TNCC certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire).
• STABLE certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire).
• NRP certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field.
• Two (2) years of hospital nursing experience.
• One (1) year of Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of background check, drug screening, and employee health requirements.
