Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate coast-to-coast dry van routes with HMD Trucking out of Lake Charles, LA. We’re hiring experienced solo CDL-A drivers who want dependable freight, modern equipment, and a driver-first culture.

Your role:

• Drive OTR dry van tractor-trailers on national lanes, ensuring timely, secure deliveries.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and report maintenance or cargo issues to dispatch.
• Work with operations on routing, detention, and delivery windows.
