Job Title Paraprofessional (Pre-Kindergarten Program) Location Edgebrook Elementary School, Grades Pre-K to 3 Reports To Building Principal Certification and Requirements Current and Valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License. Minimum Qualifications / Required Skills Current and Valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Responsibilities / Duties Ability to promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol. Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train. Ability to work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration; Positive attitude and dependability a must. Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs. Terms of Employment 175 Day – Full Time Start Date 2026-2027 School Year Pay and Benefits $17.50/hour starting plus benefits.
