Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by stepping into a vital role as a full-time, contract School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This opportunity near Cleveland, TN allows you to use your expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation while collaborating with a supportive educational team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by state law
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Experience with psychological assessments, IEPs, and behavioral intervention planning
- Familiarity with special education law and best practices in school-based psychological services
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Prior experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs as a core team member
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop targeted intervention strategies
- Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention services as needed
- Maintain current, detailed records and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations
