Transfer Driver

Position Description Immediately Hiring and Seating a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver and we want the right Transfer Driver to join us at Ryder in Manchester, NH Driver Positions Pay Weekly Hourly Pay: $23.00 Per Hour Home Time: Local - Home Daily Shift: Mon-Fri NO WEEKENDS Hours: 10:00am - 6:30pm Paid Training Move trucks/parts pickup All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities Freight: No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement Transferring rental equip / delivering trucks to customers, parts (straight trucks, vans, day cabs, sleepers, cabovers, etc. based on what needs to be transferred) We have all the benefits other carriers do without the wait! UNIFORMS & BOOT ALLOWANCE Paid Time Off Starts Accruing at Day 1 with 80 hours in 1st year Medical, Dental, Vision Start at 30 Days Immediate 401k rollover and contributions with company match at one year Ryder Drivers are Captain of their Ship – we trust and support OUR DRIVERS tomake Driving Condition Decisions to keep you safe Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Responsibilities This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service.
