Join Our Night Owl Team as a Critical Care Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Location: Pennsylvania

Key Requirements:


- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
- Years of Experience: 2
- Patient Ratio Experience: 2

Preferred Qualifications:


- Charting System Experience: Cerner
- Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
- LTAC & Trauma Level Experience: N/A
- Travel Experience: N/A

Required Certifications:


- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS

Essential Skills:


- Accessing/Managing Ports*
- Arterial Line Management
- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- BiPAP/CPAP Management
- Blood Product Administration
- Cardiovascular ICU Care*
- ECMO Management*
- Ventilator Management
- And many more specialized skills!

Unit Details:


- Staffing & Scheduling:
- Patient Ratios: Days 2, Nights 2, Weekends 2
- Weekend Coverage: True

- Patient Care:
- Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: Manageable


- Interdisciplinary Support:
- IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more!

Additional Information:


- Minimum 1 year of experience required unless otherwise specified.
- Active PA or Compact License required.
- Background concerns must be disclosed.
- Candidates must be available to work every other holiday.
- Cerner experience preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital.
