She Recruits is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected regional health system seeking a  Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established and growing cardiovascular surgery program in  Lake Charles, Louisiana .

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
\n
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of cardiac and thoracic conditions.
\n
• Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures utilizing both traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
\n
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
\n
• Participate in a shared call schedule.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support continued program development.
\n

QualificationsRequired\n

\n
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
\n
• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
\n
• Eligible for unrestricted Louisiana medical licensure
\n
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative practice skills
\n

Preferred\n

• Experience performing a broad range of adult cardiothoracic surgical procedures
\n
• Interest in helping grow an expanding cardiovascular surgery program
\n
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
