IT Support Technician

IDR is seeking a IT Support Technician to join one of our top clients in Fort Worth, Texas. Overview Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Support Technician : Responsible for providing on-site and/or remote technical support to end-users. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues. Assist users with software problems, including operating systems, productivity suites and other applications. Set up new computers and equipment at user locations. Replace or upgrade hardware components. Use IT service management (ITSM) tools to log, track, and update service tickets. Frequently travel within a facility or to nearby locations. Document resolutions, technical procedures, and asset changes. Required Skills 4+ years of experience in an IT Field Support position Hands-on experience working with Locution or similar Public Safety alert systems (Active911, Purius, Pulsepoint) Experience working in Public Safety or Government environment Basic IT Certification Preferred (A+) What’s in it for you?
