Qualifications:

• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Previous school-based experience is required
• Strong student assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
• Technologically savvy, adept with current computer applications
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Able to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in stressful situations
• Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Direct mental health services: individual/group counseling per IEPs, classroom interventions, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Conduct comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments and write evaluation reports
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on MTSS, crisis management, and special education planning
• Lead and participate in a variety of meetings, including IEP, manifestation determination, and professional development
• Provide consultation, psychoeducation, and intervention strategies for students, staff, and families
• Respond to crisis situations, conduct threat assessments, and support safety planning
