Supply Chain Planning Manager Industry Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Overview Seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead purchasing, planning, scheduling, and inventory operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. Responsible for ensuring material availability, supply-demand alignment, team leadership, process improvement, and compliance with GMP and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead purchasing, production planning, scheduling, and inventory management teams. Manage supply planning processes to ensure raw material and finished goods availability. Oversee SAP planning systems and support S&O activities. Collaborate with manufacturing, project management, quality, and operations teams. Support new product introductions and supply chain readiness. Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Develop SOPs, deliver training, and manage team performance. Analyze supply chain issues and implement corrective actions. Requirements Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or related field. 4+ years of supply chain, planning, scheduling, purchasing, or inventory management experience. 3+ years of people leadership experience. Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Strong SAP planning experience (MRP, APO, EWM preferred). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing environments preferred.
