Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant I Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant I to support clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced physician practice. You will assist providers with patient care, perform routine procedures, and ensure smooth patient flow. Key Responsibilities: Room patients, take vitals, and document information in the EHR Assist with exams, procedures, phlebotomy, and specimen collection Administer injections and immunizations per provider orders Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and support infection control Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and managing provider inbox Participate in quality improvement and care coordination efforts Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) BLS certification through the American Heart Association Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills Job Type: Full-Time Location: Needham, Massachusetts Pay: $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday
