Hospitalist, Hospital Medicine - Nocturnist Physician - Albemarle, NC

Job Description

Atrium Health Stanly is seeking a fulltime  Nocturnist to provide independent, high quality inpatient care at a supportive community hospital within the Atrium Health system.

• Schedule: 7:30 PM 7:30 AM (12 hour nights)
• Dedicated night shift hospitalist role
• Mix of admissions and cross coverage
• Strong nursing, respiratory therapy, and telespecialty support
• Community hospital environment with manageable volume and predictable workflow

• Average Night Census: ~2535 total patients on the hospitalist service
• Night Admissions: Typically 48 per shift
• ICU: 6 bed ICU,  open model with  eICU/telecritical care support
• Procedures:
  • No routine procedures required
  • Occasional procedures (e.g., lines, simple airway support) may occur but are  supported by eICU and rarely needed
  • Rapid response participation expected; codes supported by ED/RT
