Registered Respiratory Therapist – Meridian, ID – Mindlance Health – $2,310 per week – Nights: 3 days x 12 hours – 13‑week contract – Start ASAP About the Position Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and NICU patients in a 24‑hour inpatient setting. The role requires proficiency in ABG interpretation, respiratory treatments, and equipment management across ICU, MICU, ER, and general floors. Responsibilities Perform ABGs (radial or brachial) and manage all respiratory treatments for adults, pediatrics, and NICU patients. Float between ICU, MICU, medical–surgical telehealth, ER, and general floors as needed. Provide continuous respiratory support during night shifts (1900‑0730) and participate in overnight oximetry and PACU treatments. Utilize Drager V500, Hamilton, ReVel, V60s, Vapotherm, and EPOC equipment. Setup and calibrate respiratory devices; perform CPAP initiation for NICU deliveries. Respond to optional standby call within 30 minutes; coordinate with intensivist and anesthesia teams. Self‑schedule within the 3‑day 12‑hour night shift pattern and remain flexible for gap coverage, shift swaps, and mid‑shift floats. Float to sister facilities within a 50‑mile radius (e.g., Nampa, Boise) with at least 60 minutes’ notice. Complete 1–2 orientation shifts with preceptor: 1 day in NICU/General and 1 day in ICU. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted. Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient settings. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; NICU requires NRP certification. Comfortable with Level II NICU care, deliveries, and CPAP initiation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as a lone RT during night shifts. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius.
