Join Our Dynamic Cardiac Critical Care Team!

Job Description:


- Location: 8 Bed Unit
- Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM
- Patient Ratio: 1:1-3
- Patient Population:
- Post Surgical Management for Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Thoracotomies
- TAVRs
- Post Complex PCI Interventions


- Responsibilities:
- Care for patients recovering from Open Heart and other cardiac procedures
- Perform advanced procedures including:
- Central Line Placements
- Arterial Line Placements
- Chest Tube Placements
- Utilize state-of-the-art monitoring systems:
- Edwards Monitoring
- GE Monitoring
- SWAN Ganz catheters


- Requirements:
- Background in Critical Care/Cardiac Critical Care
- Open heart recovery experience
- Post-cardiac procedure recovery experience
- Nursing License required (Verification needed)

- Onboarding Includes:
- Ascension Specialty Exam
- Ascension EKG Exam
- Ascension Core Competencies
- Health screenings including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Flu vaccine, and more
- Background checks & references
